WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Develop the legal document filing system; annual legal initiatives planning; procedures and requirements for legal risk management related to F&B industry;
- Deal with internal and external parties (internal departments, regulators, external counsel, investors, local and relevant governments, clients) to ensure business meets legal standards and manage risks;
- Review and ensure that all procedures and practices across the company are fully compliant with prevailing statutory and regulatory provisions;
- Ensure licensing and post licensing procedures for all restaurants and other line of company business;
- Review documents, transaction file, business contract‘s terms and condition;
- Speaking with Back office team in Vietnam to make sure the project & support delivered timely.
WHO YOU ARE ?
- Having experience in working law firms and legal departments in-house, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in one or more of the following areas, with experience in multiple areas being an advantage: commercial law, production law, corporate management, labor issues, or facilitating transactions such as commodity trading, fundraising, and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) (Knowledge of the F&B industry is an advantage).
- Having experience working with external law firms and consultants (Vietnam and overseas) to control all responsible legal projects on time.
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge of corporate law, contract and commercial law, including country-specific laws.
- Competent in contractual documentation drafting and negotiations.
- Demonstrate fluency in English (both written and spoken).
- Demonstrate appreciation and respect for cultural sensitivities especially in cross-country/culture interactions.
- Demonstrate ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
- Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g., Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Demonstrate knowledge of adaptation of the law within the cultural/legal framework of countries.
- Analytical and forward thinking.
