Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Factory Manager to oversee the daily operations of our factory. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production, maintaining high-quality standards, and managing a team of skilled workers. The Factory Manager will play a critical role in optimizing processes, enhancing productivity, and ensuring that our products meet safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operations Management:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the central kitchen, ensuring smooth and efficient production.
Develop and implement production schedules to meet our business demands.
Monitor and optimize production processes to maximize efficiency and reduce waste.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Quality Control:
Maintain high standards of food quality and safety.
Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure products meet established standards.
Conduct regular inspections and audits of the production process.
Address and resolve any quality issues that arise.
- Team Management:
Lead, train, and motivate a team of production workers, supervisors, and support staff.
Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to improve team performance.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Inventory and Supply Chain Management:
Manage inventory levels to ensure adequate supplies for production.
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials.
Implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
- Process Improvement:
Identify areas for improvement in production processes and implement changes.
Utilize lean manufacturing principles to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate best practices.
- Reporting and Documentation:
Prepare and present regular reports on production, quality, and efficiency.
Maintain accurate records of production activities, inventory, and personnel.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Factory Manager or in a similar role within the food industry.
Strong knowledge of food production processes and quality control standards.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Ability to analyze and improve production processes.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in using production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a central kitchen or food processing environment.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
Certification in food safety and quality management.
