This brand-new dessert is an enticing hot and cold fusion, inspired by the local fried banana and coconut ice cream, this is our ‘Banana Fritto with House-made Ricotta Ice Cream and Saffron Orange sauce’.
The banana slices are coated with a golden crust made of oats, eggs and semolina powder. Served with house-made ricotta ice cream, a variety of seeds (sunflower and pumpkin seeds) and dried fruits inside. With a slightly salty tinge of blue cheese grated on top of this dessert, it helps bring out the sweetness of the banana. We’ve added more colours to the dish with chrysanthemum and nasturtium.
