Currently, our original beer range includes: Dalat Whey Stout, Premium Lager, Whey Cider, Kagua Roast Ale, Session IPA and Yuzu Wheat Beer. Let’s dive a little bit deeper into what’s unique about each beer below
1. 4P’s Original Dalat Whey Stout
5.5 % ABV, 330 ml
Ingredients: water, malt, whey (4.5%)
This beer has been made with our repurposed whey water from the cheese-making process, offering a rounded creamy mouthfeel, smooth and slightly sweet, chocolate finish.
2. 4P’s Original Whey Cider
5.5% ABV, 330 ml
Ingredients: Apple Juice (86%), whey water (9.2%), water, lemon, pineapple, cinnamon, hops, yeast.
A delicious unique cider made with golden Vietnamese pineapples, local aromatic cinnamon, fruity Australian hops and the whey water recycled from our cheese-making process.
3. 4P’s Original Premium Lager
6.2% ABV, 330 ml
Ingredients: Water, malt, hops, yeast
A touch of malt up front, followed by a slightly bitter aftertaste coming from the hops we use. Pair this lager with any of our seafood and poultry dishes to enhance the experience!
4. 4P’s Original Kagua Roast Ale
6.2% ABV, 330 ml
Ingredients: Water, malt, hops, herbs, yeast
This Belgian-style ale is made from the collaboration with Far Yeast Brewing in Tokyo, has an exceptional aroma of roasted malt and refreshing spicy aftertaste from unique Japanese spice sansho.
5. 4P’s Original Session IPA
4.5% ABV, 330ml
Ingredients: Barley, hops, yeast, wheat flour, water
In collaboration with Pasteur Street Brewing, this beer is made with pizza flour, a subtle ingredient that gives slightly bitter and citrus notes, which makes it a great pairing for many of Pizza 4P’s dishes.
6. 4P’s Original Yuzu Wheat
4.8% ABV, 330ml
Ingredients: Water, wheat, hops, yeast
Collaborating with 7Bridges, this beer is an original craft beer created with Yuzu – a Japanese citrus fruit. This is a refreshing fusion between Yuzu citrus and sea salt, great for pairing with our cheese and pasta dishes
A little fun fact about our Dalat Whey Stout and Whey Cider: they are made with the whey water repurposed from our cheese-making process in our Dalat Cheese Factory. We wanted to find a sustainable solution for this nutritional bi-product instead of discarding it. Hence, we started approaching experts and asked them if whey water could be used to make beer. A local brewery we reached out loved the idea and after several rounds of prototyping, 4P’s original craft beer, Dalat Whey Stout, was born and the Whey Cider was invented shortly after.
