NEO-ORGANIC PENDANT LAMPS
Look up.
These lamps started as eggshells, banana trunks, tofu water, mushroom roots, and river grass. Gathered across Indonesia, shaped by hand, and hung where light can find them. All produced by @suha.life.
@___homlab pressed eggshells into thin, delicate sheets. Hold one up to the light and it glows like nothing you’ve seen before, and yet it came from your kitchen.
@greenman_bananapaper_studio peels fiber from banana trunks and rolls it into paper so thin, light passes through it like a whisper.
@mater.designlab began with tofu water – yes, tofu water – and coaxed it into something translucent and firm, every piece a little different from the last.
@mylea_mycl grew a shade from mushroom mycelium. Pale, leather-soft, it catches morning light one way and evening light another.
@ridakatenun wove water hyacinth, seagrass, jute, and gebang palm together – slowly, by hand, the way things worth keeping usually are.
Five makers. Five materials most people walk past every day.
All of them, now, overhead.
