Invited to the 8th ZERO TALK!
On August 5, 2024, our Brand Director, Kazuya Kubota, was invited as a guest to the 8th session of ZERO TALK.
The session was a thoughtful exchange of ideas on a single topic, hosted by Nirmal Raj Gyawali, founder of Swarl Inc. and educator of yoga and meditation, and Mao Sakaguchi, an ethical director who facilitated the event.
This time, we centered the conversation around the concept of ONENESS, which is core to Pizza 4P’s. The 60-minute discussion flew by as we delved deep into what ONENESS means to us, and how it shapes our philosophy and actions.
In the final 10 minutes, Nirmal led a meditation session focusing on the theme of ONENESS. As we sat together, we listened carefully to his words, turning our attention inward to focus on our hearts. The meditation started with a reflection on compassion, one of our core values at Pizza 4P’s, and the question of where compassion truly arises from.
Nirmal spoke of how compassion is born from the heart—how, because our hearts are beating, we have the ability to feel, see, hear, and experience the world. This is all a part of ONENESS. Our heart enables our existence, our passions, and our individuality. By showing gratitude to the heart, and feeling its pulse with compassion, we can be filled with love and kindness, and realize the deep connection to ourselves and to others.
The meditation session was a precious moment, gently guiding us back to the heart of ONENESS. Nirmal’s words truly reminded us of the importance of ONENESS in our daily lives, and how it shapes the way we live and interact with the world.
