Pizza 4P’s Founding Story Featured on Mo:take
We are delighted to share that Pizza 4P’s has been featured in an interview by Mo:take, a lifestyle media platform, highlighting the story behind our founders, Yosuke Mashiko and Sanae Takasugi.
Centered around the question, “Is Pizza 4P’s really just a restaurant?”, the article explores the philosophy that has shaped Pizza 4P’s from the very beginning—a place where people gather, connect, and share meaningful experiences.
Where It All Began: A Homemade Pizza Oven
The story of Pizza 4P’s began not with a restaurant, but with a handmade pizza oven and a series of pizza parties shared among friends.
As more people –including neighbors, friends, and even local producers– gathered around the oven, Yosuke Mashiko came to realize that pizza has a unique ability to bring people together.
For us, pizza has never been just about serving delicious food.
It is a way to share stories, celebrate the people behind each ingredient, and create moments where connections naturally grow around the table. This belief continues to guide everything we do today.
Memories Around the Family Table
The interview also looks back on the childhood experiences that shaped our founders’ relationship with food.
Meals lovingly prepared by their mothers and grandmothers, and the everyday moments spent around the family table, became the foundation of their belief that dining is about more than nourishment—it is about sharing time, creating memories, and strengthening human connections.
