[HCM] UX/UI Designer

We‘re expanding our technological capabilities to enhance customer experiences and streamline operations across our growing network of restaurants. Our digital products include customer-facing mobile applications, online ordering platforms, our website, and internal tools for restaurant staff and management.

POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a talented and creative UX/UI Designer to join our Technology Department. In this role, you will be responsible for designing intuitive, engaging, and visually appealing user experiences across our digital products. You will translate business requirements into elegant design solutions that delight our customers and support our operational teams. This position requires a balance of creative thinking, user-centered design principles, and practical implementation skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create user-centered designs by understanding business requirements, user feedback, and app/web metrics
• Design user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for mobile and web applications
• Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and component libraries to ensure consistency across all digital products
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and iterate designs based on user feedback and analytics
• Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders throughout the design process
• Create visual designs, including iconography, typography, color schemes, and imagery that align with Pizza 4P‘s brand identity
• Design accessible interfaces that comply with WCAG guidelines and provide inclusive user experiences
• Optimize designs for different devices, screen sizes, and platforms
• Participate in design critique sessions and provide constructive feedback to team members
• Stay current with UX/UI trends, tools, and emerging technologies
• Contribute to the creation of design documentation, presentations, and specifications
• Work with front-end developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs
• Design interactive elements and animations that enhance the user experience
• Advocate for the user throughout the product development process

WHO YOU ARE

• Bachelor‘s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• 3+ years of experience in UX/UI design for digital products
• Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design solutions across web and mobile platforms
• Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar
• Experience conducting user research and usability testing
• Understanding of design systems and component-based design approaches
• Knowledge of information architecture and content strategy principles
• Strong visual design skills with an eye for typography, color theory, and composition
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate design decisions
• Experience working in cross-functional teams in an Agile environment
• Understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design principles
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and front-end development capabilities/constraints

Preferred Skills
Experience in the hospitality or food service industry
Knowledge of motion design and animation tools
Experience with restaurant ordering systems or POS interfaces
Familiarity with service design and customer journey mapping
Understanding of data visualization design principles
Experience designing for multiple languages and localization
Knowledge of A/B testing and design experimentation methodologies
Familiarity with design tokens and design-to-code workflows
Experience mentoring junior designers or providing design direction
