II. ROLE PURPOSE

  • The Procurement Intern supports the Procurement Non-Food Team in executing the 2026 Procurement Strategy, which includes preparing, updating, and consolidating supplier-related documents, quotations, and data needed for category planning. The intern plays a key role in documentation control, quotation follow-up, administrative tasks on internal systems, and coordination with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure all sourcing activities are completed accurately and on schedule for 2026.
  • This position contributes to smooth procurement operations by supporting compliance, transparency, and timely execution of sourcing activities across categories, helping the team achieve its 2026 procurement objective


III. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Sourcing and Purchasing Support

  • Assist in collecting, organizing, and updating documents required for the Principal Contracts across all supplier categories.
  • Follow up with suppliers to request quotation updates, missing documents, contract forms, and other required information.
  • Track deadlines and progress to ensure all suppliers’ contracts are completed and ready on time. 
  • Support checking basic contract details (pricing, validity dates, contact information, product lists) under guidance from the Procurement Supervisor/Manager.
  • Assist in ensuring accuracy and completeness of supplier documentation before submission for internal approval.
  • Perform administrative tasks and other ad-hoc assignments as requested by the Procurement Team.


2. Compliance and documentation

  • Support compliance with company Procurement policies and internal procedures related to Non-Food purchasing activities.
  • Maintain accurate, organized, and up-to-date documentation for all Non-Food purchasing and contracting activities, ensuring audit readiness.
  • Assist in preparing and submitting basic reports such as supplier OTIF, price comparison summaries, saving tracking, and expense monitoring related to Non-Food categories.

IV. JOB REQUIREMENTS

1. Educational Qualifications/ Relevant Technical Skills

  • Graduate with Economics, Supply chain, Foreign Trade Bachelor
  • Basic knowledge about Supply Chain & Finance is a plus

2. Relevant Work Experience

  • Fresh graduates are welcome; prior internship or part-time experience in Procurement, F&B, FMCG, or related fields is a plus.
  • Experience supporting operations or administrative tasks in a restaurant chain/company is an advantage.
    Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and basic office communication tools.
  • Fluent English communication skills.

3. Other Requirements

  • Strong coordination, communication skills
  • Proven ability to deliver tasks on time and with high quality.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage deadlines and deliver results under pressure.
  • Problem solving driven.
