I. ROLE PURPOSE
The Assistant Manager M&E – Restaurant supports the M&E Manager in leading the team and overseeing maintenance operations across restaurants and business locations. The role ensures that all technical systems (kitchen, electricity, refrigeration, HVAC, water supply, wastewater, fire safety, etc.) operate stably and respond rapidly to incidents.
II. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Technical Operation

Formulate maintenance and breakdown care schedules/plans for restaurant systems and equipment.

Supervise, track, and audit the quality of maintenance execution carried out by the team.

Inspect and manage maintenance logs, reporting forms, and contractor documentation.

Advise, support, and report directly on operational matters to the M&E Manager.
2. Technical Personnel Management

Assign and dispatch technical personnel based on tasks and area expertise.

Supervise, evaluate, and support team members to ensure successful task completion.

Monitor and control the performance quality of service contractors and project contractors.

Manage operations smoothly and collaborate effectively with the M&E Leader.
3. Technical Skills & Solutions

Evaluate technical drawings, introduce adjustments, and draft new technical drawings.

Assist and collaborate with the M&E Manager and the engineering team to design technical approaches and solutions.
4. Reporting & Continuous Improvement
-
Consolidate periodic operational reports for submission to the M&E Manager.

Source, explore, and propose new engineering methods and technical improvements.

Coordinate and assist in executing approved technical initiatives.
III. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education Background
-
Minimum: College / University degree in Engineering
Relevant Experience
-
Required: Management experience in a technical environment and experience in designing work schedules/plans.

Preferred: Professional experience within chain restaurants, food factories, or food-sector engineering projects.
Stakeholder Influence & Collaboration
-
Required: Strong capabilities to manage, lead, plan, and collaborate smoothly with the M&E Leader, team members, and external contractors.
Industry or Domain Expertise
-
Required: Proficiency in using AutoCAD 2D, 3D, and standard productivity tools (Excel, Google Sheets, Email, Drive). Highly responsible, honest, organized, calm, and patient in process-driven workflows.

Preferred: Prior experience in food factories, restaurants, or hospitality service companies.
