ROLE PURPOSE
- The Demand Planning Executive will ultimately be responsible for utilizing historical data, statistical forecasting, cross-function insight such as market trends, seasonal patterns to generate volume sales forecast across all menu categories.
- Support DSP manager to communicate the plan to operations team (front line) in S&OP meeting. This position’s primary goal is to ensure the restaurants have the right products at the right time to meet guest demand while minimizing food waste and stockouts, contributing to the ultimate company mission “No Unhappy Guest”.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Statistical Forecasting
Develop yearly, quarterly, monthly and weekly demand forecasts at product and category levels using statistical tools and inputs from Restaurants, FMCG sales team, and Finance for 4Ps in Vietnam, Cambodia, India, Indonesia. - FMCG Promotion & LTO Planning
Collaborate with the R&D and production teams to prepare the plan of Limited Time Offers (LTOs/seasonal menu), price changes, and new grand menu launches/update. Account for promotions (if any), product launches, and discontinuations in the FMCG forecast. - Inventory Optimization
Monitor primary inventory levels across the stores to prevent overstocking (waste) or understocking (lost sales) and communicate the primary material reservation to the Procurement to secure the inventory. - Cross-Functional Collaboration (S&OP)
Lead the Demand Review meetings in the S&OP cycle, facilitating monthly meetings with Finance, Operations, and Procurement to align on a "single version of the truth" forecast. Highlight the constrain demand and align on solution. - Performance Tracking
Analyze forecast accuracy and Bias. Perform root-cause analysis on significant "forecast misses" to improve future modelling.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education Background
- Graduate with Economics, Supply chain, Foreign Trade Bachelor
- Preferred: Certificate in Data Analysis , Supply Chain Management
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- Minimum Experience Duration
- 1+ years in demand planning or supply chain (Experience in F&B or Retail preferred).
- Stakeholder Influence & Collaboration
- Required: Experience collaborating with leaders and cross-functional teams to manage shipments/goods delivered on time and implement improvement initiative
- Industry or Domain Expertise
- Required: Experience in service-driven industries.
- Preferred: Strong ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into actionable business insights.
