PIZZA 4P’S x SOKFARM - THE GOLDEN CONNECTION

The golden drop of pure nectar

Every year, saltwater creeps up from the sea into Trà Vinh, threatening the coconut farms that families have tended for generations. Many would give up. But the farmers at Sokfarm chose differently. They turned back to their ancestors’ wisdom, knowledge that modern life had slowly forgotten.

 

But Sokfarm didn’t just preserve the old ways, they transformed them. While traditional farming methods had gradually depleted the soil through intensive cultivation and chemical dependency, Sokfarm introduced regenerative techniques that breathe new life into the earth. Their organic approach combines ancestral knowledge with modern soil science, using natural composting, beneficial microorganisms, and rotational practices that actually enrich the soil over time rather than exhaust it.

 

This shift required changing deeply rooted cultural practices. For generations, farmers believed that more chemicals meant better harvests. Sokfarm’s founders had to convince their community that patience and natural methods would yield not just healthier coconuts, but healthier land for their children and grandchildren. They introduced techniques like organic mulching, natural pest management using local plants, and soil conditioning with coconut fiber, methods that restore the earth’s natural fertility cycle.

 

The transformation wasn’t easy. It meant abandoning quick fixes for long-term thinking, trading immediate results for sustainable abundance. But as the soil began to regenerate, coconut trees grew stronger, more resilient to saltwater intrusion, and the nectar became purer, sweeter, nature’s reward for working in harmony rather than against her rhythms.

 

Sokfarm also gives work to local people, many from the Khmer community. These are the hands that protect the land and keep traditions alive. They are Sokfarm’s hearts.

 

Mrs. Thạch Thị Chal Thi and Mr. Phạm Đình Ngãi founded Sokfarm with a simple dream: to help their neighbors find hope through work that honors their heritage – making pure coconut blossom nectar, drop by precious drop.

 

Every morning before dawn, while dew still sparkles on coconut leaves, skilled farmers begin their quiet work. They gently massage each coconut blossom, coaxing out drops of liquid gold. Nature’s own chemistry keeps the nectar pure, no artificial preservatives needed.

 

This is where ancient knowledge meets modern care, creating something completely natural.

Behind every drop of coconut nectar are farmers you’ll probably never meet. They work under the blazing sun and in the pouring rain, caring for each tree, each blossom. But they rarely hear “thank you” from the people who enjoy what they make.

 

They work believing their care will bring joy to someone, somewhere. But the long journey from farm to table means they never know whose day they might have brightened.

 

That’s why we created “Letters to the Farm”, a bridge between Sokfarm’s farmers and Pizza 4P’s guests.

 

 

The day we met

 

When we brought the first letters to Sokfarm, something beautiful happened. We watched faces light up as they  read simple words from our guests:

 

“Thank you for making such delicious, natural coconut nectar”

 

“Thank you for keeping traditions alive so we can taste real flavor”

 

 

Simple words. But they built a bridge between city and countryside, between strangers who had never met but were connected by food and care.

 

In that moment, people who usually stay “behind the scenes” found new joy in their work.
