Pizza 4P’s Cambodia store is committed to achieving zero waste through various initiatives to repurpose waste. Organic waste from the restaurant is used as feed for Black Soldier Fly larvae and crickets. Pizza dough waste and shell waste are also repurposed into valuable resources. For example, the “Circular Pizza” uses ingredients that were previously waste, promoting a circular relationship between consumption and production.
Plastic waste is recycled in partnership with a Cambodian recycling facility, turning it into building materials. Broken dishes are repaired and reused, and food waste is minimized by using leftover ingredients in other menu items.
Additionally, to reduce waste, the Cambodia store eliminated disposable wet wipes and paper napkins, replacing them with reusable items. These efforts contribute to a more sustainable operation, aiming to reduce waste and promote resource circulation.
