A MOUNTAIN, A FARM AND EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN
The first thing you notice is the color.
Deep red beets. Peppery arugula. Baby carrots with their papery skins still on. At YUM Organic Farm (@yumorganicfarm) in the mountains of Cipanas, the harvest looks exactly like it should – vivid, unhurried, real.
They’ve been growing this way for years. Careful soil. Patient hands. No shortcuts. Season by season, their produce makes its way into our kitchen – simple vegetables, grown with patience and respect for the land.
But a farm is never just its fields.
University students come here to learn the rhythms of organic farming from the ground up. In the surrounding communities, cooking programs help parents feed their toddlers well. Elders gather for health checks, movement, and time in the garden together.
Food, learning, and community – growing side by side, season after season.
When their ingredients arrive at our door, we carry a little of that story with us too.
