Oneness Partner's Vol.22 BUAISOU

By the entrance of Pizza 4P’s Tokyo, there’s a spot with benches where you can take a break and unwind.

These indigo-hued benches, lined up by the window to invite comforting daylight, were made by BUAISOU @buaisou_i, an Indigo artist and dyer hailing from Tokushima, Japan, gaining worldwide attention.

Employing an innovative approach, we repurposed the indigo-dyed cedar boards previously showcased in their exhibit “Ishiwa: Indigo and Flowers” at Sogetsu Kaikan.

It all starts with cultivating Indigo leaves, followed by a fermentation process and dyeing using traditional techniques. Immerse yourself in the deep, relaxing Indigo color for a truly calm experience.
