Oneness Partner's Vol.23 On-Co

A distinctively shaped flower vase graces the countertop in front of the cheese factory.

Crafted by Yuki Murakami @yuki_murakami877, a material designer at On-Co @onco20190311 in Mie Prefecture, this creation repurposes whey, a byproduct of the cheese production.

Whey, typically destined for cheese making, inspired him to conceive a cheese-like flower vase composed of 4 interconnected pieces. Fashioned solely from natural materials, its delightful color is achieved using paint derived from whey.

This marks the first phase of our whey upcycling initiative. Keep an eye out for our forthcoming product currently in the developmental stages.
