Job summary

With the DNA of home-made cheese, the production of cheese on supply for our chain of more than 30 full dine-in restaurants across the country and key retailers are the core and the key to our guest satisfaction.

The goal is to have a person responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of cheese production, ensuring the efficient and safe operation of the facility. This role involves managing production teams, maintaining product quality, optimizing production processes, and meeting production targets while adhering to safety and quality standards that meet operational requirements and 4P’s quality standards.

 

The deliverables

  • Planning & Budgeting
      • Strategic planning to ensure long-term success
      • Creating and managing annual production budgets
      • Planning and prioritizing annual capital expenditures
  • Factory set-up:
      • Ensure the new CF (Cheese Factory) establishment in Don Duong, Lam Dong is within target timeline and budget
  • Production Management:
      • Develop and execute production plans of the new CF to meet volume, quality, and cost targets
      • Monitor daily production schedules of CF and adjust as necessary to meet demand
      • Ensure the timely and efficient processing of milk into cheese products
  • Quality Control:
      • Implement and enforce strict quality control measures to maintain product consistency in CF
      • Conduct regular inspections and quality checks throughout the production process.
      • Investigate and address any product quality issues promptly
  • Team Leadership:
      • Recruit, train, and manage production staff, including supervisors and team members at CF
      • Foster a culture of teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement, reflecting 4P’s core values of Omotenashi, Kaizen, Authenticity and Compassion
      • Set performance expectations, conduct performance evaluations, and provide coaching and feedback
  • Process Improvement:
      • Identify opportunities to optimize production processes, reduce waste, and improve efficiency for CF
      • Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to ensure equipment is well-maintained
      • Conduct cost-benefit analysis for process improvementsImplement best practices in cheese production at CF
  • Safety and Compliance:
      • Promote a safe working environment at CF by adhering to safety regulations and guidelines
      • Ensure all employees are trained on safety protocols and emergency procedures
      • Monitor and maintain compliance with food safety and quality regulations
  • Inventory Management:
      • Manage inventory levels and ensure raw materials are available for production
      • Implement inventory control measures to minimize waste and excess stock
  • Cost Control:
      • Monitor production costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction
      • Work to improve operational efficiency to minimize production expenses
  • Reporting and Documentation:
    • Maintain accurate production records, including production reports and quality data
    • Prepare regular reports for management on production performance and KPIs

 

Who you are

  • Bachelor‘s degree in Food Science, Dairy Science, or a related field (preferred)
  • Over 05 years of production management for all sites of production, quality, warehouse, logistics, purchasing with at least 03 years in similar position in a well-known food manufacturing company of high quality standard
  • Familiarity with safety and food regulatory standards. Good knowledge and experience in ISO, HACCP or equivalent international standards
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills 
  • Fluent in Vietnamese and technical English
  • Quality focus with Kaizen mindset
  • Empathy with our vision and passion for food industry
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and production management software
  • Open for EURO/Japan market

 

Training & Working schedule

  • 2 months onboarding and probation
  • Monday to Saturday, flexible working hours based on operation schedule
