IT Operations Support Engineer
Pizza 4P‘s is seeking an experienced IT Operations Support Engineer to join our global technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing operational support and maintenance for our IT infrastructure and systems across our international locations.
WHAT WILL YOU DO
- Monitor and maintain servers, networks, applications, and other IT systems to ensure optimal performance and availability
- Respond to and resolve technical issues and service requests from end-users in a timely and professional manner
- Perform routine system administration tasks, including backups, updates, and patching
- Collaborate with various teams (e.g., development, security, networking) to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
- Participate in the implementation and deployment of new IT systems and technologies
- Develop and maintain documentation for IT processes, procedures, and configurations
- Assist with the creation and enforcement of IT policies and standards
- Provide training and support to end-users on the use of IT systems and applications
- Participate in an on-call rotation to support critical systems and handle after-hours incidents
WHO YOU ARE
- 3+ years of experience in an IT operations or systems administration role
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems, as well as virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)
- Experience with server hardware, storage systems, and networking equipment
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) and automation tools
- Understanding of IT security principles and best practices
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
- Willingness to work shifts, including nights and weekends as required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a global or multinational IT environment
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and service management frameworks
- Familiarity with cloud technologies (e.g., Azure, AWS)
- Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., Microsoft, Linux, VMware)
