JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the efficient operation of our factory‘s warehouse. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the storage, distribution, and inventory of all raw materials and finished products. The Warehouse Manager will ensure that our warehouse operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently, supporting the overall production process.
WHAT WILL YOU DO
Warehouse Operations Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient storage and distribution of goods.
- Develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and safety.
- Coordinate with the production team to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and finished products.
Inventory Management:
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management software.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts.
- Manage inventory levels to prevent shortages and overstock situations.
- Implement and monitor FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO (First Expired, First Out) principles.
Team Management:
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of warehouse staff, including leader, forklift operators, and pickers.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to improve team performance.
- Ensure that all warehouse staff adhere to safety and operational procedures.
Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Implement and monitor safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
Logistics and Distribution:
- Coordinate with logistics providers for the transportation of goods.
- Oversee the loading and unloading of delivery vehicles.
- Ensure timely and accurate shipment of products to customers.
Process Improvement:
- Identify areas for improvement in warehouse operations and implement changes.
- Utilize lean management principles to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate best practices.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare and present regular reports on warehouse operations, inventory levels, and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of all warehouse activities and transactions.
WHO YOU ARE
- Experience in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar role within the food industry.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to analyze and improve warehouse processes.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a central kitchen or food processing environment.
- Knowledge of lean management principles.
- Certification in warehouse management or logistics.
