[HCM] Global Senior Accountant

We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated General Accountant to join our finance team in Vietnam. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the financial transactions, preparing accurate and timely financial reports, and ensuring compliance with Cambodia local regulations and company policies.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

1. Financial Record Management:

• Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, invoices, and statements.
• Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and timely.

2. Reconciliation:

• Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.

3. Reporting:

• Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

4. Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and standards.
• Assist with internal and external audits.

5. Budgeting and Forecasting:

• Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
• Monitor budget performance and report variances.

6. Taxation:

• Prepare and file tax returns in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations.

7. Process Improvement:

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
• Develop and maintain accounting procedures and policies.

8. Support:

• Provide financial analysis and support to other departments as needed.
• Assist with special projects and financial analysis

WHO YOU ARE ?

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience.
• Experience in a similar role within the CBD or a comparable business environment is advantageous.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, …).
• Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High level of integrity and professionalism.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
