[HCM] Project Supervisor

The Project Supervisor is responsible for overseeing on-site construction activities to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards. This role requires close coordination with contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams to maintain compliance with approved designs, safety regulations, and company standards.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
1. Construction Quality:
- Supervise all on-site construction and renovation activities, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Conduct daily quality inspections to identify defects or discrepancies and ensure timely corrective action.
- Verify that materials, finishes, and workmanship meet company and brand standards.
- Monitor MEP installations to ensure alignment with design and operational requirements.
2. Construction Time Management:
- Follow approved construction schedules, monitor daily progress, and report deviations to the Project Manager.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of works and materials.
- Resolve minor on-site issues promptly and escalate major challenges for management decision-making.
3. Budget Tracking & Cost Control:
- Monitor budgets and expenditures for assigned projects to ensure alignment with approved financial plans.
- Seek management approval for any cost changes from the approved plan.
Identify risks that could impact timelines, quality, or budget, and propose mitigation measures.
4. Compliance, Health & Safety:
- Ensure all works comply with local building codes, regulations, and company standards.
- Enforce safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment for all workers on-site.
- Support in ensuring that relevant inspections and approvals are obtained during construction.
5. Coordination & Communication:
- Liaise with internal teams (Operations, QA, HSE, other related departments) to ensure construction aligns with operational needs.
- Maintain clear and timely communication with the Project Manager and project stakeholders regarding progress, challenges, and changes.
ARE YOU A FIT?
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
- Certifications in Project Management or the F&B industry are an advantage.
- Level 3 Construction Supervision Certificate is preferred.
- Able to communicate effectively in English (speaking and writing).
- Proficient in AutoCAD and capable of producing or adjusting technical drawings.
- Competent in using project management and reporting tools to ensure transparency and efficiency.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in construction supervision, preferably in F&B, retail, or commercial fit-out projects.
- Proven ability to oversee construction quality, cost, and timelines while coordinating multiple stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, including Mechanical & Electrical (M&E), Fire Protection, Gas Systems, and Safety Regulations.
- Skilled in reading, interpreting, and applying technical drawings and project documentation.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with stakeholders such as building owners, government agencies, and technical partners.
- Ability to motivate and coordinate diverse, multinational teams.
- Capable of identifying and evaluating risks, implementing preventive measures, and resolving issues during project execution.
- Willing and able to travel domestically and internationally (e.g., Cambodia, India) as required by projects
