II. ROLE PURPOSE
The Record-to-Report (RtR) Lead plays a critical role in ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of 4P’s Corporation’s financial reporting. This position oversees the end-to-end month-end closing, general ledger management, and compliance with both Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Acting as a guardian of financial accuracy and process excellence, the RtR Lead partners with cross-functional teams to ensure transparent reporting, effective reconciliations, and continuous improvement in the financial reporting cycle for Vietnam and expanding international operations.

III. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. General Ledger & Month-End Close Management

  • Lead and coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
  • Ensure completeness and accuracy of journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and allocations.
  • Maintain integrity of the General Ledger (GL) and ensure timely reconciliations.

2. Financial Reporting & Compliance

  • Prepare and review financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, etc.) in accordance with VAS and IFRS.
  • Support internal and external audit requirements with accurate documentation and analysis.
  • Monitor accounting policies and ensure consistent application across entities.

3. Balance Sheet Integrity & Reconciliation

  • Oversee preparation and review of all balance sheet account reconciliations.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly to maintain accurate financial positions.
  • Establish and maintain effective control policies for balance sheet substantiation.

4. Process Improvement & Systems Integration

  • Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency within the RtR process.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional and IT teams to improve reporting workflows and data quality.
  • Drive best practices in accounting operations and documentation.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with FP&A, Tax, and Operations teams to ensure end-to-end accounting accuracy.
  • Support regional and group-level consolidation as required.

  • Timely Closing: 100% adherence to monthly and annual closing timelines.
  • Accuracy: Zero critical audit findings or financial misstatements.
  • Compliance: Full adherence to VAS, IFRS, and internal control policies.
  • Efficiency: Reduction in manual journal entries and reconciliation effort.
  • Process Improvement: Documented enhancements or automation delivered per quarter.

VI. TOOLS, ENVIRONMENT & WORKING CONDITIONS
Systems & Tools: SAP (preferred), Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, BI tools (e.g., Power BI).
Work Setting: Office-based with flexible hybrid arrangement.
Travel Requirements: Minimal; occasional domestic coordination.

VII. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Preferred: CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional certification.
  • Language Proficiency: English – Advanced (spoken & written). Vietnamese – Fluent (spoken & written).

VIII. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Duration: Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or financial reporting.
  • Relevant Experience: Proven track record managing GL, closing, and reporting cycles.
  • Industry: Prior experience in multi-unit retail, F&B, or hospitality is highly advantageous.
  • Stakeholder Management: Experience collaborating across finance and operational functions.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to coordinate and mentor team members during critical cycles.

IX. CAREER PROGRESSION

  • Feeder Roles: Senior Accountant, Accounting Supervisor, GL Specialist.
  • Next Roles: Accounting Manager, Regional RtR Manager, Finance Controller.
  • Mobility: Opportunities for cross-country finance roles or specialization in FP&A, Audit, or Tax.

X. COUNTRY & ROLE-SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

  • Must comply with Vietnamese accounting standards, tax laws, and corporate governance.
  • Flexibility required during peak closing periods (month-end, quarter-end, year-end).
  • RtR scope and deliverables may evolve based on 4P’s regional expansion and system integrations.
