II. ROLE PURPOSE
- The Procurement Intern supports the company’s overall procurement activities across various categories. Key responsibilities include assisting in preparing purchase plans/orders, collecting quotations, comparing prices, coordinating vendor evaluations, managing basic documentation, and helping ensure that purchasing processes are timely, transparent, and aligned with company policies and budgets. This role contributes to smooth project execution for new stores and ongoing operational needs while supporting cost optimization and supplier performance tracking.
- The Procurement Intern will collaborate closely with the Procurement Team, Operations, Finance, Suppliers, and other internal stakeholders. The intern will assist in budget monitoring, support Procurement compliance processes, and help deliver procurement-related tasks and ad-hoc assignments as needed
III. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Sourcing and Purchasing Support
- Assist in preparing purchase plans for Procurement – Food categories including collecting quotations, basic price comparison, vendor information checking, and supporting document preparation under the supervision of the Procurement Team.
- Support coordination of purchasing needs for new store projects by following up with the RnD, QA and Operations teams to ensure timelines and information are aligned.
- Support the purchasing process by ensuring communication is aligned across teams and helping avoid miscommunication or delays.
- Assist in preparing reports, templates, and planning tools to track supplier performance, delivery status, and purchasing progress.
- Collect data, prepare analysis, and provide basic insights to support the Procurement Supervisor/Manager/Director.
- Support to complete the assigned tasks on internal procurement systems (contract/payment/purchase request/…)
- Perform administrative tasks and other ad-hoc assignments as requested by the Procurement Team.
2. Compliance and documentation
- Support adherence to regulatory requirements and company procurement policies by following guidance from the Procurement Team.
- Maintain accurate, organized, and up-to-date documentation for all purchasing and contracting activities.
- Assist in preparing and submitting simple reports related to supplier performance (OTIF), price comparison, savings tracking, and expense summaries.
IV. JOB REQUIREMENTS
1. Educational Qualifications/ Relevant Technical Skills
- Graduate with Economics, Supply chain, Foreign Trade Bachelor
- Basic knowledge about Supply Chain & Finance is a plus
2. Relevant Work Experience
- Fresh graduates are welcome; prior internship or part-time experience in Procurement, F&B, FMCG, or related fields is a plus.
- Experience supporting operations or administrative tasks in a restaurant chain/company is an advantage.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and basic office communication tools.
- Fluent English communication skills.
