II. ROLE PURPOSE
This internship supports core accounting operations within the Finance function. The position reinforces transaction accuracy, documentation integrity, and month-end discipline. It exists as an execution-focused role that builds foundational accounting capability while sustaining the department’s operational throughput.

III. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Accounts Receivable Operations
• Process customer invoices and support 3-way matching against sales orders and goods issues.
• Enter approved invoices into the accounting system with strict accuracy standards.
• Prepare collection batches for Senior Accountant review.
• Maintain AR documentation through systematic filing and organization.
• Execute monthly cash collection reconciliation and AR aging preparation.
Finance Administration
• Scan, file, archive all finance documents including invoices, contracts, bank statements, and receipts.
• Support data entry and basic reconciliations during month-end closing.
• Handle ad-hoc administrative tasks assigned by the finance team.
IV. SUCCESS METRICS & KPIs
• Zero-error data entry and invoice processing.
• On-time completion of monthly AR reconciliation and aging reports.
• Full compliance with internal documentation and filing standards.
• Reliable task execution with minimal rework.
V. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education
• Currently a 3rd or 4th year student in Accounting, Finance, or related field; or 1 year of relevant accounting experience.
Foundational Knowledge
• Understanding of basic accounting principles including debits, credits, and AR workflows.
• Ability to commit to a full-time internship for at least 3 months.
• Prior internship experience beneficial but not required.
VI. CORE COMPETENCIES

• Proactive execution and willingness to learn.
• Working proficiency with Microsoft Excel (basic formulas required; VLOOKUP/Pivot preferred).
• Strong organization and procedural adherence.
