[HCM] Senior DevOps Engineer

I. ROLE PURPOSE

The Senior DevOps Engineer is responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing hybrid cloud infrastructure and automation pipelines to enable rapid, reliable software delivery, and improve operational efficiency through system design and process automation.

II. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure & Containerization Management

• Manage and maintain our hybrid cloud infrastructure across on-premises data centers and public clouds (e.g. Azure, GCP).

• Configure and manage containerization using Docker and container orchestration with Kubernetes.

• Experience with provisioning on Linux OS, computer networking, and web application architectures.

2. Infrastructure as Code (IaC) & CI/CD Pipeline Automation

• Develop and implement infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions using tools like Terraform, Ansible.

• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.

• Automate routine tasks and processes through scripting (e.g. Bash, Python).

3. Monitoring, System Optimization & Collaboration

• Implement monitoring and logging solutions (e.g. Prometheus, ELK stack) to ensure system health and troubleshooting.

• Experience in network, server, and application-status monitoring.

• Collaborate with development teams to streamline deployments and improve development workflows.

• Participate in an on-call rotation to support production systems.

• Improve operational efficiency through system design and process automation.

III. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education Background

• Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field [To be confirmed]

Language Proficiency

• Required: English – Advanced (spoken & written) [To be confirmed]

Minimum Experience Duration

• 3+ years of experiences

Relevant Experience

• Required: 3+ years of experience as a DevOps engineer or similar role.

• Required: Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).

• Required: Experience with hybrid cloud environments (on-premises and public clouds like Azure, GCP).

• Preferred: Background in software development and experience with configuration management tools (e.g. Ansible, Puppet).

Stakeholder Influence & Collaboration

• Required: Ability to work in a collaborative, agile environment to streamline deployments and improve workflows with development teams.

Industry or Domain Expertise

• Required: Deep knowledge of computer networking, Linux OS provisioning, and web application architectures.

• Required: Proficiency in a scripting language (e.g. Bash, Python).

• Preferred: Familiarity with microservices architectures and knowledge of security best practices (e.g. network security, access controls)
