I. ROLE PURPOSE
The Health, Safety, and Environmental Engineer coordinates with functional teams to perform assessments, inventories, and inspections that support the site's mission to achieve zero injuries, zero environmental incidents, and zero non-conformances under the direction of the HSE Manager.
II. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Plant and Operational Safety Management
* Manage safety in the plant and store, encompassing machine safety, electrical safety, project safety management, and contractor safety.
* Build up technical safety standards in factories and stores.
* Periodically check and evaluate the safety of equipment.
2. HSE Technical Expertise and Program Development
* Provide HSE technical expertise on manufacturing systems, process design, and operating procedures across all stages of operation including design, commissioning, trial, and mass production.
* Develop HSE programs and cooperate with other departments to accomplish safety tasks and develop safety guidelines at work.
* Participate actively in the engineering process and program in developing and implementing process safety.
3. Audits, Risk Assessment, and Compliance
* Conduct regular HSE audits and reviews, and recommend and oversee corrective and preventive measures to improve safety and ensure regulation compliance.
* Implement risk identification and assessment throughout the factory frequently.
* Liaise with various government authorities on workplace health, safety, and environmental issues.
4. Emergency Preparedness and Safety Network
* Prepare for fire protection rehearsals with employees or local authorities, and conduct firefighting training and practice monthly.
* Build up and develop a safety network team.
III. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education Background Minimum: Bachelor’s degree
Minimum Experience Duration 3-5 years as HSE Relevant Experience
Required: Experience in managing plant and store safety, developing technical safety standards, and implementing risk assessments.
Preferred: Experience within manufacturing or restaurant operations environments. Stakeholder Influence & Collaboration
Required: Ability to cooperate with other departments, build a safety network team, and liaise with government authorities. Industry or Domain Expertise

Required: Good knowledge of local and international HSE regulations/standards, HSE Management Systems, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.

Preferred: Proficiency in related HSE software alongside MS Office
