Yes, it’s from waste – things that are considered no longer useful, but in fact, we can still add new values for a new life!
At the opening of the first “zero-waste” concept restaurant in Vietnam, we held a special “Pop-up Workshop” at Pizza 4P’s Hikari Binh Duong. A sustainable handmade candle event that highlights the recycling and reuse of the “waste” generated at our restaurant’s operation; such as empty beer/wine bottles, old cooking oil, and leftover candle wax (candles are often used to keep the cheese pot warm in Cheese Fondue, Baked German Potato).
♻ The delight and surprise on the Guests’ faces when making the scented candle jars by their own hands and the experience became even more meaningful when they know they are made from “waste”. We hope that these sustainable activities will gradually raise people’s awareness to protect the environment through small creative actions.
