Before the food comes, there’s already a story on the table.

Our napkins are made by @rou_batik, a batik studio in Yogyakarta, founded by Aimi Kanai who learned an old craft from the people who still practice it best – slowly, by hand, the way it’s always been done.

Look closely. Oceans, seeds, soil, tiny living things – all folded quietly into the cloth. Nothing shouts. It simply waits for you to notice.

Every napkin is stamped, dyed, and finished by hand. A small, humble object, but one that carries more care than most things we touch each day.
