Your Role

As a Food Supervisor (Assistant Manager), you will support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing kitchen operations, including the main kitchen, pizza kitchen, and in-store cheese production.

You will help maintain our food quality and safety standards while supporting team development, operational efficiency, and cost management.

[Key Responsibilities]

• Oversee food quality and food safety compliance across the kitchen and pizza kitchen through regular quality audits and spot checks.
• Maintain consistent food quality standards across shifts and stop the service of any item that does not meet quality or safety requirements.
• Supervise house-made cheese production, including mozzarella and burrata, as well as central-kitchen production, in line with quality, yield, and waste targets.
• Lead, coach, and train kitchen and pizza team leaders and their teams, supporting the Restaurant Manager on food quality and safety matters.
• Monitor and control operating costs, including labor, raw materials, utilities, and food loss.
• Review P&L and food loss reports to identify opportunities for operational improvement.
• Work closely with front-of-house and support teams to ensure smooth restaurant operations.

What We’re Looking For

[Required Qualifications]

• A bachelor’s degree in any field (preferably Hospitality, Culinary Arts, or Food Technology), or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Food/Kitchen Assistant Manager or in a comparable supervisory role, such as Kitchen Supervisor, Sous Chef, or Head of Section, within an international F&B environment.
• Proven experience in team management, staff scheduling, food quality management, and food safety control.
• Experience managing operational costs and interpreting P&L and food loss reports.
• Advanced spoken and written English.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Willingness and ability to work rotating shifts.

[Preferred Qualifications]

• Experience preparing Italian-style pizza.
• Familiarity with cheese-making or central-kitchen production, particularly mozzarella or burrata.
• Understanding of cost of goods sold (COGS) management.
• Experience using workforce scheduling, purchasing, or inventory management software.
• Experience collaborating across departments in a multi-outlet or franchise F&B business.
