Pizza 4P’s Tokyo held our very first workshop!

On August 12, 2024, we hosted a Workshop for Kids at our Pizza 4P’s Tokyo location in Azabudai Hills, in collaboration with Yard Works.

In this first-ever workshop in Japan, children had the chance to choose their favorite plants and sneakers, and then plant them while exploring different types of soil. It was wonderful to see the kids deeply focused, thinking about which direction would be best for their plants, asking questions, and consulting with their parents as they worked. It was a meaningful experience for all of us.

Through this hands-on experience with soil, we hoped to give the children a glimpse into how invisible creatures in the soil help nutrients spread, how water and sunlight nourish plants and vegetables, and how all of this connects to our daily meals—creating a deeper understanding of the phrase “Itadakimasu” (let’s eat).

We also hope that by caring for the plants they planted, the children will continue to observe their growth and learn valuable lessons from the process.

At Pizza 4P’s, we hope we would held other workshops in the future!
