BUU STORY

BUU – our lovable ambassador – has been winning people’s hearts with his cuteness on the occasion of a collaboration of Pizza 4P’s x Uniqlo Vietnam for Tet 2023. So, we’d like to take this opportunity to give you a behind-the-scenes look at how we brought BUU to life!

BUU was created back in 2018. At the time, we had briefed the team at Rice Studios to create a mascot for our brand – made of cheese! From there a special collaboration was made with a man named Andrew Gordon, a 20-year veteran from Pixar known for his character animation in films like Toy Story 2, Finding Nemo and Monsters Inc. We were unbelievably excited that Andrew shared a deep interest and passion in developing our first character BUU!

When you look at BUU, you are instantly captured by his curious and loving expression. In fact, this character has undergone numerous stages of cautious development and has been crafted in detail. We wish to elicit joy and happiness from our audience through BUU’s joyful and adventurous personality.

BUU is our ambassador for Peace and Happiness, and we are excited to be seeing BUU more and more so that everyone can enjoy his company, and feel the warmth and joy he brings
